Rootwise Media is operated by Rootwise Media, LLC, a subsidiary of Rootwise, LLC, a Michigan limited liability company ("Rootwise Media," "we," "us," or "our"). We operate the rootwise.media website and the digital guides and content we publish there.

What Rootwise Media Does

Rootwise Media publishes plain-language, clinician-written educational guides about foot and ankle health. The site itself does not require an account, does not process payments today, and does not record audio or video. Where we mention future digital products (such as downloadable guides for purchase), those purchases — once available — will be handled through a separate third-party storefront with its own privacy practices.

• Waitlist sign-up: First name, email address, and, if you opt in to SMS alerts, your phone number, collected to add you to the early-access list for Rootwise™ App, operated by Rootwise, LLC, our parent company.
• Correspondence: Anything you send us directly, such as an email to our contact address.

b. Information Collected Automatically

• Basic site analytics: Standard web analytics such as pages visited, referring source, device type, and approximate location derived from IP address.
• Cookies: We use minimal, non-invasive cookies necessary for the site to function. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Mobile information and SMS opt-in data: No mobile information, phone numbers, or SMS opt-in consent will be shared with any third party or affiliate other than Rootwise, LLC — the company behind Rootwise™ App and the reason you're on this waitlist — and never for unrelated marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers provided for SMS alerts are used solely for the purposes you consented to, and are transmitted only to Rootwise, LLC's SMS messaging service provider strictly to deliver the messages you requested.

Data Storage and Security

Waitlist information is stored using industry-standard cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit. We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your information from our waitlist
• Opt out of email or SMS communications at any time (reply STOP to any text, or use the unsubscribe link in any email)

Data Retention

We retain waitlist information until you ask us to delete it or until the purpose it was collected for (notifying you of launch) has been fulfilled and a reasonable follow-up period has passed. Basic analytics data is retained for up to 12 months.

This site is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately at privacy@rootwisehealth.org.
